The article focuses on the lowest barometric pressure in Great Britain since 1886. Topics include the North Atlantic cyclonic systems that caused stormy and wet weather over the British Isles in December 2013, the storms passing the northwestern Scotland on December 24, 2013, and the data from the Met Office North Atlantic showing a 927mbar central pressure of the storm in Stornoway which is considered the lowest pressure reported.
