- Title
MOZAMBIQUE: Ex- Rebel Unrest.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the strained relations between Mozambique's ruling party Frelimo and the former rebel group Renamo Party, which have worsened since April 2013. On June 24, 2013, a military convoy was attacked by armed men in the central province of Sofala, and three days earlier two trucks and a bus were attacked by armed men and two civilians died. President Armando Emilio Guebuza has agreed to meet the leader of the former rebel group to relieve tensions to avoid another civil war.
