ALGERIA: Three AQLIM Leaders Surrender.
- Abstract
The article reports on the decision of the three al-Qaeda in the Land of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) to surrender to Algerian security services in Bouira. It states that the most important leader, Oukad Attia, was persuaded to surrender after hearing an appeal aired on Radion Koran by repentant terrorist Abou El-Abbes. It notes that the surrender of the leaders deals a harsh blow to the organization and stabilizes the terrorist organization.
