- Abstract
The article focuses on the data protection law reform proposals in the European Union after the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) in the case Google Spain SL v. Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD) on right to be forgotten under privacy law. It also mentions that the terrorist attack on the satirical journal "Charlie Hebdo" give impetus to heightened security measures by European governments on privacy of social media websites.
