Key Practitioner Messages This is the first study assessing hospital-wide knowledge and the impact of a Child Protection Week as a method of training., We have identified the effective elements of a Child Protection Week. The newsletter and Intranet articles proved the most recalled media., Self-declaration of child protection knowledge is an effective method to evidence training. Staff were significantly more likely to have positive knowledge, skills and attitudes to safeguard children.
