The article offers the author's insights regarding the impacts of undercover reporting on the occurrence of deception in journalism. The author mentions an event appeared in the newspaper in 1978, concerning the efforts made by the reporters at the "Sun-Times" to reveal the corruption in Chicago, Illinois by hiding their real identity. The author adds that undercover reporting causes journalists to exceed their limitations in reporting.
