- Abstract
An essay is presented which explores the dramaturgy of sound in the films of Italian director Federico Fellini. It looks at Fellini's creative method of depicting metaphors on his films as well as his awareness of the material which constitutes his films including casting, makeup, and scenography. The electroacoustic sound, an element of sound which represents a remarkable role in the director's films, is discussed.
