- Abstract
The article offers information on the relevance of the undergraduate research programs imposed by Western Oregon University in Monmouth. The author states that workshop provided by the Council of Undergraduate Research (CUR) in 2004 has inspired to establish a successful and effective institutionalized undergraduate research because of its high benefits and advantages. The author cites the implementation stage and development plans of the research program and the best practices attained by students and faculties. The author notes that universities are capable of imposing effective undergraduate research program that supports creative activities and scholarship grants.
