- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45 year old woman who developed swelling and redness in both ears after starting oral griseofulvin treatment for tinea corporis. It is reported that the reaction resolved upon discontinuation of griseofulvin and treatment with prednisolone, but recurred upon re-administration of the drug. It suggests a potential link between griseofulvin and red ear syndrome, highlighting the importance of promptly recognizing and managing adverse drug reactions.
