- Abstract
The author discusses the post-Islamist trends in Iran after the Islamist Revolution in 1979. He presents a comparison of Islamism and post-Islamism. He discusses aspects of post-Islamism in Iran, including grass root movement involving reforms movement in 1990s and Green Movement, and the diverse trends. He states that the post-Islamism in Iran can be subdivided into diverse trends including neo-Shariati post-Islamist discourse, liberal post-Islamism, and semi-post-Islamism.
