The article features writer Grace Paley and her works. According to Margalit Fox, Paley's short stories are characterized with "pitch-perfect dialogue." It also cites Paley's commitment to political art, as well as her opposition to the Vietnam War. With her commitment, Thomas Frank put Paley in the league of women writers who foreground the community. Her poem "Fidelity" is also cited.
