- Abstract
The Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is an Engineering Technique used to define, identify and eliminate known and/or potential problems from a system. The FMEA is an ongoing process that should start as a part of the first Design Review and continue throughout the life of the product. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a systematic method of identifying and preventing product and process problems before they occur. It focuses on preventing a failure or error. At this study, we will try to present how to conduct a Failure Mode Effect Analysis. We will focus on the FMEA process, its application to otomotive industry and team development.
