- Abstract
The article focuses on the judicial decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Williamson County Regional Planning Commission v. Hamilton Bank of Johnson City, in which the Court addressed the claims of monetary compensation against violation of the takings clause in private property under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. It informs that Court applied the Williamson County's state litigation ripeness doctrine in cases like San Remo Hotel v. City and County of San Francisco.
