- Abstract
The article presents the study of paleo-climate environment and paleo-ocean environment during the Ordovician-Silurian period in the Tibet Plateau. It focuses on the carbon isotope excursion in the Xainza area, which helps in studying the glaciations and mass extinction of that period. Details related to a series of analysis on slightly weathered rock samples, including section identification, cathode luminescence analysis, and isotope analysis are discussed.
