- Abstract
The article reports on the publication of the draft bill which aims to amend the Dangerous Dogs Act and extend the legislation to cover dog attacks on private property by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA). It highlights the measures covered in the draft Bill which include extension of the law to include all private property which means that owners could be prosecuted if they fail to stop their dogs attacking people on their own or someone else's private property.
