- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a seven-year-old female, neutered Cairn terrier who was referred to Queen Mother Hospital for Animals for a pacemaker implantation to treat sick sinus syndrome. After six months, a mass in the left caudal lung lobe was observed radiographically and investigated by ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (FNA). The site of the thoracic wall tumour and the metastasis to the thoracic wall showed strong evidence of needle tract seeding.
