- Abstract
The article reports on the proposals with regard to the existing legislation about dog control governance in Northern Ireland. It notes that the proposals aim to address issues reviewed at a consultation, launched by agriculture and rural development minister Michelle Gildernew, such as the inclusion of new dog control measures and dog licenses alterations to let wardens deal with control problems. The four prohibited dogs and the Dangerous Dogs Order 1991 of the country are also mentioned.
