- Abstract
The article focuses on the portfolio "Transmutations par Brassaï" by the French artist Brassaï, who employed the use of a technique called cliché-verre to create unique images. The article discusses the artist Pablo Picasso whose etchings inspired Brassaï to create his own, the photographs used for the foundation of the works which Brassaï took in 1933 and 1334 in Paris, France and Brassaï's association with the Surrealist publication "Minotaure."
