- Authors
Eskind, Andrew H.; Barsel, Deborah
- Abstract
The article discusses the international museum of photography at George Eastman House conventional for photographs cataloguing in New York. It states that the Museum has been using a computer program and a set of procedures which is detailed enough to accommodate the vast range of materials in the image product/George Eastman House (IMP/GEH) collections. Software used to gain computer access is in the form of the General Retrieval and Information Processor for Humanities Oriented Studies (GRIPHOS) programs which is distributed to members of Museum Computer Network, Inc. It notes that in the next few years, IMP/GEH plans to offer an annual microfiche update to the collections on a subscription basis.
