- Abstract
The article focuses on the struggles of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Texas during 1914 to 1932. Topics discussed include NAACP is dedicated for the civil rights for African Americans, historic Supreme Court decisions in the cases on race discrimination such as Nixon v. Herndon and Nixon v. Condon and urban residential segregation laws prevented blacks from purchasing property which was a violation of the fourteenth amendment.
