- Abstract
The article analyses the condition of the academic journal Filosofija. Sociologija (Philosophy. Sociology) in 21st century. Research is limited to the philosophical part of the journal. The major attention is paid to the institutional changes during the last 11 years. The journal is being analysed from (assumedly) disinterested and value-free Martian point of view, which (possibly) determines the objectivity of the information received. It was deliberately decided not to read the journal articles. The objects of analysis are the following: editorial board, authors, their institutional affiliation and dynamics. In the framework of the chosen methodology the journal changes are highlighted and provided with rational reconstruction and explanation of the above-mentioned processes. Explanations are based on the notions of "academic gangs" (Scheff), "academic tribes and territories" (Becher) and on the notions of "plagiarism" and "bullshit" (Fuller).
