- Abstract
The article discusses a proposal to reform consumer and employment arbitration in America, as well as class action litigation as of February 2013, focusing on an analysis of binding arbitration and its impact on employees and employers. Several legal cases are examined, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit case Jones v. Halliburton. In the Jones case, plaintiff Jamie Leigh Jones sued an oilfield services firm after allegedly being gang-raped by several of its employees.
