Hahn, David
- Abstract
The author comments on the article "Rates and correlates of potentially inappropriate colorectal cancer screening in the veterans health administration," by A. A. Powell and colleagues. He says that Powell and colleagues ask the question, how often clinicians offer screening for colon cancer when the net population benefit approaches zero. He discusses estimates on appropriate colonoscopies performed for colon cancer screening.
