- Abstract
The article examines the relationship between a model autonomous subjectivity, the certain trope of authenticity, and social movements particularly on the culture that surrounds punk rock in the U.S. It discusses the connection between authenticity and punk rock and then looks into the model of individuality on the aspects of authenticity. It claims that punk rock reinstate the same pattern of life, that is, the falsehood or false life with respect to aphorism.
