- Abstract
An essay is presented on the creation of twelve-member juries in federal civil trials regarding the amendment in the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 48. It examines the role of Fifth Circuit Judge Patrick Higginbotham and Professor Ed Cooper who have proposed an amendment to the civil procedure law. It offers brief information about the decision made by the U.S. Supreme Court regarding the jury and the Sixth Amendment to the law.
