The article focuses on the issue of racial wealth gap between college-educated African Americans and White households in the U.S. and highlights the article "'Family achievements?': how a college degree accumulates wealth for Whites and not for Blacks," by Tatjana Meschede and colleagues that was published in the first-quarter 2017 issue of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Review. Information on the findings of the authors' analysis is also given.
