- Abstract
The Logistics Performance Index (LPI) is a tool developed by the World Bank to measure the performance of a country's logistics system. The LPI is based on a survey of logistics professionals from around the world, including freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics service providers. The LPI is used by policymakers, logistics professionals, and investors to identify areas where a country's logistics system can be improved. Countries with higher LPI scores are generally more attractive to foreign investors and have a competitive advantage in global trade. The correct determination of the relationship between logistics activities and foreign trade is also of great importance in terms of shaping appropriate investment and foreign trade policies. In this context, experimental studies carried out so far indicate that logistics performance has a significant effect on foreign trade volume; In particular, it confirms that there is a strong relationship between export and logistics performance. The main motivation of this study is to define the concept of LPI and to present a systematic literature review of the literature on the effect of the subject on foreign trade performance.
