- Authors
Young, Denise
- Abstract
The article argues that the outpost garrison at King George's Sound, like that of other small, remote colonial outposts around Western Australia between 1826-1831 is largely overlooked. It mentions that prison experience of Indigenous people evolved and changed over time, resultant to a range of variables including stage of the outpost, availability of food, and changing prison command and philosophy.
