The article reports on legal developments related to the regulation of product characteristics in the field of marketing in the U.S. The author provides information about the court case of Cases of Jam v. the United States in relation to U.S. Federal Security Administration standards for the fruit content in jams. A ruling made by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration regarding product quality is mentioned.
