- Abstract
The article offers information on the major contribution made by Jeremy Safran to contemporary psychotherapy both as a clinician and scientist. The therapist can intervene on the interpersonal experience of the patient frequently characterized by maladaptive patterns in the theory of Safran. It mentions that Safran influenced Italian cognitive approaches and affected directly the applicative level moving from the aforementioned psychodynamic perspective.
