Abstract
The article discusses occupational hazards in the veterinary practice along with risk assessment keeping of records of incidents of injuries and provision of first aid. It presents several common injuries associated with the practice including eye injury, skin trauma and bite wounds. It also presents information on items present in first aid box and discusses training course available for veterinary nurses.
