- Abstract
Oral tumours are reasonably common complaints among older dogs in general veterinary practice. Their management can be challenging and there is little written in the general veterinary literature to guide the clinician through decision-making. Treatment is not appropriate for all cases or all clients but this article hopes to present the practitioner with an interesting and constructive summary of the most common canine oral tumours, the pitfalls to avoid in their management and the strategies available to treat them INSET: CONTINUING EDUCATION: READER QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.
