The article discusses several of the challenges that are associated with the efforts to prevent and prosecute social media (SM)-related crimes in America, and it mentions various instances where criminal defendants have used SM services to organize, discuss, and facilitate their criminal conduct. Several SM and criminal law litigation matters in America are examined, including United States v. Drew, United States v. Sayer, and United States v. Cassidy.
