- Abstract
The article discusses the application of the U.S. First Amendment to the Constitution provision on the Supreme Court's protection to individual rights and the enforcement of government limits for civil liberties in the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission case. The court explains that there are no privileged speakers and pariah speakers under the First Amendment. It points out that the Amendment protects those who exercise their rights to communicate and speak.
