- Abstract
The article examines the differences and variability in the distribution of complementation patterns in Bulgarian and Macedonian languages. Topics include a description of the common complementation patterns shared by the two languages, arguments on the category of mood in both dialects, and an overview of different approaches toward the status of Balkan Slavic complementizers in the existing literature, as well as the factors influencing complements selection.
