The article examines the orthographic variation in modern Aromanian literature. An overview of the history of Aromanian writing is provided with regard to the language's early attestations, impact of the end of the Ottoman Empire, and standardization in the late 20th century. Several modern Aromanian literature are analyzed which revealed that they are varied despite standardization attempts.
