- Abstract
The article presents information on several studies related to young people's knowledge, beliefs and attitudes about HIV/AIDS. The study reveals that most young people are aware of the major transmission risk through sexual intercourse without a condom and sharing needles. The research study has been conducted to measure the impact of public campaigns and education programs. The study suggested that young people were worried about their contact with HIV people and moral issues associated with AIDS.
