- Title
Praise as Protector of the Natural World.
- Authors
Abbott, Kathy
- Abstract
The author discusses the concept of praise as an environmental protection mechanism. She conveys her experiences at a local park and the concept of the comfort individuals take from nature called Biophilia. The author also examines the theological concepts of pre-reflective and pre-conceptual knowledge of God in the world such as nature. She argues that more praise for trees and nature are required and discusses how the Catholic Church can play a role in more praise of nature.
