- Abstract
The article describes the rising use of employer-sponsored wellness apps specific to women's fertility tracking and the lack of regulation on privacy or anti-discrimination protection of female workers. Topics discussed include history and development of mobile apps and female technology or femtech, protection under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Health Insurance portability and Accountability Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, and ramifications of femtech on women's employment.
