The economy and structuring of the city has been provided with production activities for many years and has been directly informed of the developments with its proximity to port cities such as Zonguldak and Istanbul. Cinematography, which spread from Istanbul to Anatolia and emerged in Safranbolu in 1948-1949 with the arrival of electricity, became an important social and cultural sharing demanded by the public after it was an economic process. Starting with colorless and silent screenings, cinematography reveals a more innovative approach, especially with Özer Cinema, whose architectural project was drawn for the first time in Safranbolu.
