- Abstract
In this article the author discusses aspects of effective administrative performance management. She says that there are several factors that must be addressed in order to implement an effective performance management system such as selection of capable managers, accountability, and managerial personal courage. Furthermore, she offers recommendations to improve performance management like realistic job preview of a managerial job and a probationary period requirement for managers.
