- Title
DINOSAUR TRACKS IN A COAL MINE.
- Abstract
The article discusses dinosaur tracks observed at the States Coal Mine located near Cedaredge, Colorado. Descriptions of the tracks, including their size and shape, are presented and their location on the ceiling of the mine is explained. The article reports that Barnum Brown of the American Museum of Natural History identified the tracks as created by an igunadon and that the tracks will be removed from the mine and transported to the museum in New York City. It also notes that the dinosaur tracks are the largest discovered in Colorado and prove that dinosaurs inhabited the area much later than previously thought.
