- Title
Psychologism and Cognitive Theory in Hume and Kant: A Response to Kitcher.
- Authors
Schmidt, Claudia M.
- Abstract
The article comments on Patricia Kitcher's article "Changing the Name of the Game: Kant's Cognitivism Versus Hume's Psychologism," which was published in a 1991 issue of "Philosophical Topics." Kitcher attempts to explain the nature of David Hume's influence on Immanuel Kant's philosophy and the differences between them by focusing on the psychologism of Hume and the cognitivism of Kant.
