- Abstract
The author discuses a type of rigor mortis, cadaveric spasm which is related to instantaneous appearance of rigidity in a deceased body. The rigor mortis in body starts immediately with muscles stiffening after muscle flaccidity. The rigor mortis starts in the whole body together. The pathology includes actin and myosin complexes entering into non-moveable state till autolysis and putrefaction combined with protein disintegration relaxes the rigor mortis.
