- Abstract
The article focuses on the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case City of Los Angeles v. Patel regarding the for Fourth Amendment searches in the information age. It mentions that the court confronted the administrative and special needs doctrines. It also mentions that administrative and special needs doctrines which are left unchecked and unclarified, warrantless, suspicionless searches of digital records with afforded by the Fourth Amendment.
