- Abstract
The article addresses several issues relating to dog bites. They include liability of owners when a dog bites while under the care of a dog sitter, liability of landlords to third parties based on contractual provisions in their leases or pet policies, and duties owed to third parties to keep a foster dog within a home to prevent injury or to vaccinate a dog for rabies. Also mentioned are statutory presumptions, equine-related personal injury, and animal insurance law.
