The article investigate the pension reform movements in law, education, and economics by studying teacher pensions across the U.S. as of November 2014.Topics discussed include legal obstacles to reforms of public pensions; jurisdictions related to teacher pension in the country; and financial condition of educator defined benefit plans and the experience with existing reforms.
