The article presents an essay which offers an analysis of the novels "Roll Back the Night" by Jean Devanny, and "Heat Wave in Berlin" by Dymphna Cusack. Topics include the theme of the novel which revolves around the victims of fascism and political pontification in the Australian setting. Furthermore, the author also compares the similarities of novelists approach in the creation of the novels.
