- Abstract
The article offers a discussion on the issue regarding the scope of the term "tribunal" in Section 1782 of Title 28 of the United States Code and its application on private international arbitral bodies. It states that these said international bodies must be considered "tribunal" under section 1782 by the district courts in response to the mandate of Congress. It adds that Congress aims to facilitate the growth of international commerce and growth in the U.S.
