- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 76-year-old man having experienced one month of progressive generalized weakness. It notes that the patient's medical history included hypertension, type 2 diabetes, previous smoking and diabetic nephropathy that resulted in a kidney transplant six years earlier. It adds that the patient was taking an immune suppression regimen consisting of extended release tacrolimus, mycophenolate mofetil, and prednisone.
